Snapchat, one of the most magnificent photo and videos sharing
platform, has extended the deal with NFL and NBC Sports Group for a couple of
years. The leagues and the incorporation have partnered from 2015 and the deal
has been extended to 2019. The deal between the entertainment giants is about
the distribution of the NFL seasons on a weekly basis in off season. The deal
includes the best of Sunday stories which will be available in Discover section
that sum up American football news and highlights. The production of the
highlights will be updated in every hour in “Sunday Publisher Stories.”
According to a blog post of NBC Sports Group, the Snapchat users’
in the United States will get the recap of the seasons on weekends. While
distributing the top action, they also spotlight the super fans of the games
that made the league popular. Snapchat further added on it and said that they
would preview the show on August 9 and the first show will air on August 13.
Incorporation will continue broadcasting the recap on each Monday
throughout the seasons. The Vice President of Digital Media Business
Development, Blake Stuchin, also expressed the excitement for continuing
partnership with Snapchat, on behalf of the league. He further said that the
focusing objective of the partnership would be releasing more content with
style only for the Snapchat users. The partners might look forward to enhancing
the creative tools allowing them to get feedback from the fans, create filters
and Bitmojis as well.
The growing partnership is not only profitable for the
entertainment giants but is also satisfying for the Snapchat users. In the
previous season of 2017-2018, there were 52 million viewers who watched the
content on Snapchat. It is sure the partnership will be a hit amongst football
