Step-5- Select “Run.” and type the following given code: regsvr32 /u \”C:\Program Files\Symantec\filename.\” Replace \”filename\” with the name of the Norton toolbar file as given in Step 2. The specific name for this file may vary depending on the version of the Norton toolbar which has installed on your computer system.
Step-6 Press “Enter” key to disables the system file that automatically launches the Norton toolbar program when you startup your computer.
Step-7 Go to the Norton security suite software and open it by double-clicking on the Norton icon in your system tray. It is located in the bottom right-hand corner of the Computer Screen.
Step-8 Click on the “Settings” option.
Step-9 Uncheck the box next to \”Phishing Protection.\” and then close the window.
Step-10 After completing the above steps, restart your computer.
Step-11 Now, Norton toolbar is deactivated and removed from your Norton product.
Step-12 Reinstall the toolbar as soon as possible to prevent any security threats to your computer or install another security program which are offering the similar features.
